NeSmiths is a local staple for this community. It's been around for years & I can see why!! It's a great little mom and pop burger business with the vintage feel to it. Not to mention, the best tasting burgers I've ever had! Wonderful & very sweet staff as well. I love coming here just about every week now to enjoy a burger with a sweet tea and chat with the ladies! Definitely recommend!
An institution. Yes the patties are small. Yes they are fried in a lot of grease. Yes they’re about half bread. But damn are they good for those who like this sort of thing. If you’re expecting a beefy flame broiled or grilled burger with all the fixings, go somewhere else. Otherwise, order a couple all the way (if you like raw onion) and I recommend adding some Louisiana hot sauce. And be nice to the ladies regardless of what kind of mood they’re in.
I've been eating there since the late 1960s. My grandfather carried me and sit me on a stool. I absolutely love the food and the staff. Mrs Helen has always been so kind and caring. She makes you feel very welcome. I absolutely % love this place.
